Cup Of Chino blends the comforts of a local coffee shop with the curated feel of an organic grocery store, making it a relaxed stop along Apollo Bay’s Pascoe Street. This spot draws in a mix of regular locals grabbing their morning coffee and thoughtful travelers seeking sustainable, organic produce to complement their beachside adventures along the Great Ocean Road.

The atmosphere balances casual café vibes with a slightly rustic, wholesome charm. Inside, you’ll find well-prepared coffee that’s noted for its attention to detail—from well-steamed milk to carefully crafted latte art—proving a small team who really know their drinks. A quiet corner seat here is ideal for a mid-morning pause or an afternoon catch-up, especially on mild days when the gentle natural light filters in.

Beyond coffee, Cup Of Chino offers a modest but thoughtfully selected grocery range. This includes local organic beef, homegrown garlic, organic eggs, and chilled items perfect for a spontaneous picnic or a casual barbecue spread. The fridge picks serve as handy additions whether you’re stocking up for a weekend getaway or assembling a simple cheese board to share with friends.

The staff stand out for their warm, attentive service, especially when it comes to families. Parents can expect a welcoming approach, as the team goes out of their way to make the experience enjoyable for kids, turning visits into relaxed moments rather than rushed errands.

Early to mid-mornings tend to be the best time to visit if you’re after a smooth start to the day, while quieter afternoons allow for lingering over a drink or browsing the organic offerings. Its inclusion on the Responsible Cafes map underlines the café’s mindfulness towards sustainability, which resonates with both locals and environmentally conscious visitors.

Best service and went above and beyond for the kids! Kids wanted my dinosaur coffee, it looked that good. Best coffee in town 10/10! Great range in the fridge for a BBQ and perfect additions to a nice cheese board!

A beautiful cafe-meets-grocer providing everything from local organic beef cuts to homegrown garlic and organic eggs. Coffee is delicious and the small range of sweets provide great accompaniment to the drinks on offer. Staff are also lovely :)

Finally a place that gives you a coffee with good milk. The coffee and the matcha were exceptional. All paired with the nicest customer service in the town.

Great Matcha with latte art, nice staff, haven’t tried the food but by the looks of the home made cookies in the cabinet it’s good, purchased organic bread & other things! They have a range of organic meats, dairy products, pasta etc - lovely find!
